Step 1 | concept & consultation
A custom garment begins with you. The first step in creating your dream piece is sharing your inspiration, upcoming event, or vision with me. We’ll spend time together over the phone or over coffee, concepting the design, whether that means reviewing a Pinterest board, fabric inspirations, or simply starting with an idea you’ve always had in mind until we refine it into something that feels exactly right.
Following the initial consultation, a nonrefundable $250 deposit is collected and applied toward the final invoice for your completed garment.
step 2 | design & sourcing
Once the direction is established, I begin designing your garment through detailed sketches and collaborative revisions until every element feels exactly right. During this stage, I source fabric swatches through online suppliers and from the highest-quality fabric providers in New York City, carefully selecting the textiles that will best bring the design to life.
Once the final design and materials are approved, you’ll receive a clear upfront invoice for the completed piece.
step 3 | construction & fittings
This is where the design comes to life. Through my own handiwork, alongside a team of trusted seamstresses and pattern makers, your garment is carefully created and refined through a series of fittings to ensure an exceptional fit tailored to you. Depending on the complexity of the piece, the full process typically takes between 3 to 6 weeks.
